I'm A Sister In The Bloggerette Sorority!

Karen (Some Days are Diamonds) has founded this new sisterhood,

and today is rush day!

Karen provided the image and we were instructed to let our imaginations take us where they will.

I printed the vintage postcard on photo paper, and used vintage and antique elements (book cover, velvet ribbon, mother of pearl buckle, and lace doily) to create "Me & My Gals."

I coffee dyed a fabric rose and reinvented the petals joining them with vintage cupcake paper, hand crochet lace doily, and vintage floral button .

There was one more rule that Karen set forth, we must be photographed with our work. While I am always camera shy, I truly have no wish to show myself here with the tomato red nose and watery eyes that have accompanied the wonderful summer cold I have been suffering through this week. So please excuse me if I tweak the rules a little.

So, here I am on a better day.
Thanks to Karen, now the fun really begins, blog-hopping!
enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly
