This Is Halloween!

Now that my boys are grown,
both in college,
Halloween doesn't bring the same excitement
as when they were young.
I can't even live vicariously through trick or treaters at my door.
We live in a more rural area,
and are lucky to see 5 costumed beggars each year.
I did, however, do a little decorating in my dining room,
and thought I would share.

JoAnne made this dapper dude on the left,
and I made his mate on the right.

I made this shadowbox too.

The centerpiece on the buffet is this white pumpkin topiary,

surrounded by my collection of vintage-looking decorations.

Great beaded garland,
a Home Goods find a few years ago,
and a Merry Halloween swag I made years ago.

Natalea made this beautiful witch tree topper.

Some of my cabinet card witches (at top),
and the ominous gent below is also by JoAnne.

Pretty beaded fruit.

The piece to the left came in the mail the other day.

This door hanger is by Lynn.
This gorgeous piece was the prize in her latest giveaway!
Thanks so much Lynn!

I hope you are enJOYing a lovely weekend,
And Your Blessings,
Kimberly

  9. Your Halloween treasures...handmade and collected...are fabulous. I am preferring the small displays that mean so much over the garrish and overdone commercial look. Happy Haunting...
