A Collection Of White Under Glass

I love things with a story,
a history,
the tell-tale marks of another life.

This small collection of milk glass
has been collected over time
from 4 different sources.
The latest addition are the stoppers,
which make the vases look a little like genie bottles.

The paper roses wreath is a little project I put together one day.

I love bell jars,
I have broken a few over the years,
but always manage to find a new one,
or two, or...

This little darling is a piece that my mom made decades ago
when she was into ceramics.
He is standing on my favorite vintage silver plate find,
I love the cut-work style of this tray.

I have arranged the 3 mini collections on
the beautiful wine barrel lazy Susan,
which was a Christmas gift from my sil and fam.

I have been on the lookout for milk glass nesting eggs for quite some time.
I was thrilled to find these earlier this year.
They are nestled under a third bell jar,
filled with antique paper shreds,
and my favorite antique Easter postcard.

I am joining in

& Your Blessings,
Kimberly

  2. Why is it that when something is under glass, it's more beautiful?! I think milk glass is pretty. It goes with everything. Prices are still "good" here. Sweet angle that your Mom made.
    Looks great.
    Warmly,
