What's Old Is New Again!

I have stacks of vintage quilt blocks,
I love how sweet the fabrics are,
and knowing that they have a history.

Decades ago,
someone collected these lovely scraps,

and stitched them into a thing of
simple beauty.

but alas,
this project was never completed.

I took these little remnants of the past,
die cut them,
added more of those Maya Arts frayed flowers
and made these sweet tags.

I am linking to:
Frilly & Funkie's
(I purchased the Maya Arts ribbon
and Tim Holtz die from Linda's shop)
I was fortunate enough to win this week's
discount to her shop,
and was featured on her blog!
Thank you so much, Linda!

Don't forget it is:
Be sure to check out all the wonderful shops
that are linking up.
I am so honored to be featured this week by
Dear Debra.
What a thrill!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Debra!

enJOY Your Blessings,
and a beautiful week,
Kimberly

Congratulations..
Love the bright colors and I always love the upcycle projects. We are such a wasteful nation. And those precious old quilts tops, are a little treasure

Super sweet project, Kimberly! I really love the idea of using the quilt blocks that way - such a clever idea and what a gorgeous piece of the past. I just love the way you have put it all together! Just shabbily beautiful.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful work with us on Sunday Share!

Hugs,
Linda
