I joined JoAnne at
for a fun Valentine Swap.
I decorate a craft paper box and tag to present the snippet to my swap partner,
(Be sure to visit Michele,
she has a post with pictures of the beautiful snippet she created for me.)
This is a shot of the snippet in rolled-up form.
The ring at the end of the beaded chain
slips over the end of the driftwood to hold everything secure,
you can see it a bit in the last photo...
...and then, it becomes the hanger for the piece.
You can see the hanger better here.
I did not get super Valentine-y on this swap.
My interpretation was to use beautiful feminine touches
and bunches of hearts.
I included a pair of wings for cupid too.
Thanks so much to JoAnne for hosting another wonderful swap,
and to Michele for the beautiful snippet she created for me.

Absolutely lovely.
:)
This is beautiful. One of these days I'll make a snippet roll and be ready for a swap. I always find out about snippet roll swaps AFTER the grand event.
Beautiful Kimberly!
So much love within...I've an organized box with things to make a snippet. They always are so intriguing. And yours is lovely. Thanks for sharing it.
So pretty!
Beautiful work- so appealing and your attention to details like the hanging piece is admirable.
Oh so beautiful Kimberly,
I love all the adds you have here, of all lovely kinds of sweetness !! and the idea of it to hang .
I`m doing my number 5 snippet roll just now, -I love doing them, and handsew most of it. I will go look at the one you recieved , dear.
Hugs, Dorthe
I am so in love with Snippet rolls and yet I have not created one. Yours is beyond gorgeous. Your crystal chain to secure and display the roll is brilliant. I am having the vapors over this beautiful creation dear...
thanks for popping in at my blog...love your snippet roll! C
You inspired me to make a Snippet Roll, too. And I used a lot of the items from the Valentine assortment you sent. Good stuff! It's on my blog- come visit if you get a chance.

so very lovely. I like that you didn't go all valentiney with this swap. The snippet roll is so beautiful and can be displayed all year long
