Vintage Made New

I have been having fun creating new things
with some beautiful old things.

I found a group of vintage beaded flowers
last summer.

They were in need of some love and attention.

I took a few of them apart
and re-imagined them into something new.

Each has been given a vintage rhinestone button
and circle of vintage lace for a center,
and a set of beautiful chocolate brown velvet leaves.

This is how they looked when they entered my life.
A bit dated,
I am guessing circa 1970?

I like to think I have improved them,
but now, what to do with all those beaded leaves and centers?
That's a project for another day.

  6. Dear Kimberly, I can`t wait to see,- they look so beautiful now with the brown leaves, and the rhinestone button- something totally different and so much more gorgeous than their before life.
    Sending hugs to you.

  9. They look so much richer remade.
Isn't it fun to do that and have them turn out so nice?
