The Creative Spark

I am at it once again,
digging into the deepest corners of my studio,
looking for inspiration.

This is what came out of such a expedition.

I love this shrine,
it is perfect for displaying a small treasure.

I thought about covering the cigar box with more vintage papers,
but thought that it was fun to keep the history in plain view.

What do you think,
yay or nay?

I am joining:

I have to give a great big thank you to Wen
for featuring my post
and the lovely things she had to say
about my return to blogland.
Your kind heart touched mine.

Wishing you all a lovely Tuesday,

Dear Kim,
We are many ,being so happy to see you back, here, and I`m one of them, which you also know :-)
The frame is gorgeous, and it was fun you did not cover up the box, but let it tell is story. What a beautiful shrine, now, the lady inside is so lovely ,too.
Sending you hugs and love

Oh Kim, welcome back to Blogland! Your shrine is so perfect for displaying special items. What a great use for old frames that people don't seem to want any more. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your gorgeous artworks...
Hugs,

What a gorgeously ornate frame. How lovely to make this into a little shrine.I like to see imperfections, so like the idea of the box showing it's history. So much of life is about "appearances", love that little pek into the shrine's history!!
