Wonderful Whites Wednesday

Last week I promised to share a photo of the piece I created
using 2 of the embellishments from my Transformation Tuesday post.
This hanging pillow is what I came up with.
I love the white/cream/gold combination.

I am most definitely stretching the definition of white with this one.
Initially, I did paint the wood heart white,
but then stamped it with brown ink,
and laid on a coat of gold paint in a cross-hatch pattern
to resemble linen.

I have had this metal bird body for years,
and finally used it on this little banner flag.
It was a remnant of jewelry mold-making,
and a flea market find.

While I had all of my white and gold supplies out,
I created a couple pieces that will go into my Etsy a bit closer to Christmas.

Wishing you a beautiful day!
hugs,
Kim

Oh Kim , I love your transformation pieces. They are all so beautiful, but the heart is my favorite . I love how you created the background , and then all the glittery jewelry pieces-creating such a stunning wall art piece.
Hugs to you dear friend. Mathilde is home again, so you will soon hear from me Kim.
