Stash To Treasure Saturday #1

Welcome to my first
STASH TO TREASURE SATURDAY!
I hope to make this an ongoing series.
I will take some long-neglected item(s) from my stash
and create something new.
I know we all have those items,
the color is not now,
the style is so 2000s,
the theme is no longer relevant.
I am going to try my best to take those items and breathe new life into them.

For this week's project,
I chose these vellum star stickers.
They have been in my stash for over a decade
and almost went into the trash on several occasions.

I paired them with scraps of paper
and some adorable stamped images
to create this grouping of cards.

I am so glad you visited today!

Please leave a comment.
At the end of the month,
I will announce a random winner
of a special gift.
(only one comment per post will be entered).

Happy, Creative Hugs,
Kim

Brilliant idea! Having one day a week to concentrate on this project should reduce our stash significantly. I hope to join you next week.

Great way to use up your old stuff - challenge yourself! I really like what you've done with the stars, too. Was it out of your comfort zone? If so, it doesn't look like it!

Darling idea! of course love the little sheepies too! I have so many many many stickers! I need to find ways to use them. I've used some on cards like you have. I've also seen where ladies mount them on heavier cardstock and then cut them out, so the sticker almost looks like a chipboard embellishment. I keep meaning to do that.. but just don't think of it! Your cards are just darling. Marilyn
