My First Pocket Letter (& this will be June's giveaway!)

I don't know the history of pocket letters,
but I have been antsy to try my hand at one for quite a while.

Pocket letters are little happy mail gifts,
sometimes given as a RAK
or in a swap.

Nine pockets are filled with ATC-sized little pieces of art.

On the back side,
eight pockets are filled with small embellishments
for the recipient to use in their own artwork.
The ninth pocket is for a letter
in which personal information is shared.

This will be June's giveaway prize!

Please leave a comment.
At the end of the month,
I will announce a random winner
of a special gift.
(only one comment per post will be entered).

hugs,
Kim

It's beautiful! My first pocket letter was definitely not that pretty. Here's hoping you make more.

This is lovely! I like how you've made the back pockets a selection of embellishments, and love the softly colored vintage look of this.

I am amazed that this is your first pocket art. It's wonderful, as are all your projects.

Oh I didn't even know that about the structure of pocket letters. I have done them differently, I hope my recipients haven't minded! But now I know the correct way to do it! They are so much fun and really inspiring, and yours is just lovely like everything else you do!
