Quick Tips & Tricks

I have struggled with wood mount stamps forever.
I was never happy with the results I was getting,
especially with these larger stamps.

The solution is so simple.
As easy as making a sandwich.

Here's what I do,
layer a piece of craft foam,
then the paper,
ink the stamp and press with even pressure.
Don't rush it,
hold the stamp in place a bit to allow the ink to transfer.

I'll share the finished doll tomorrow.

hugs,
Kim

I use what I think is some kind of automotive gasket for this procedure. It has the right amount of give so that all of the pieces from a stamp transfer, just like your craft foam.
