I purchase a beautiful plastic fish garland years ago,

and keep using the bits and pieces as need arises.

The pink fish and bubble beads are from the garland.

One of my absolute favorite decorative items in my home

is this pair of reproduction metal and wood candle holders.

I was looking to do a little summer sprucing to the mantel.

We actually live about a half hour from the shore,

but I love decorating with sea treasures.

I simply tucked a couple starfish

and a sand dollar into the metal flowers and leaves

of the candle holder,

and

instant Summer!
