Pocket Watch Cutie Instructions

follow along using your own supplies

Instructions:
 
1. cut the circle from the white cardboard
 
2. use a glue stick to generously cover one side of circle,
press to back side of scrapbook paper,
folowing the circle, cut the scrapbook paper
 
3. using the French script paper
 repeat step 2 on the reverse side of the circle
 
4. lightly sand the edges of the circle on both sides
 
5. ink the edges of the circle
 
 
cut the image of the girl from the photo,
and ink the edges

6. working on a flat surface,
stack the circle, photo, and watch casing
make a pleasing arrangement,
making sure the girl is properly placed
 
7. trim the excess photo
 
8.  exerting gentle pressure around the edges of the cardboard circle,
press into the pocket watch casing
 
9. attach glue squares to reverse side of image
 
10. remove tabs from glue squares,
adhere image inside of watch casing

11. insert head pin through the hole at the top of watch casing,
pressing it through the pop squares,
behind the photo
 
12.  using tacky glue, attach the leaves,
 beaded embellishment and flower to the top of the girl's head
 
13. using the jump ring,
attach the blue crystal to the watch
 
14. thread the seam binding through the other jump ring,
tie a bow
