Fonda: I live in a small town between Wilmington, NC and N Myrtle Beach, SC. If I need supplies, I must choose between these two cities. It doesn't matter which I choose, because they are practically the same distance either way - an hour or so. A real scrapbook store is quite a few miles south of N Myrtle Beach, and we go there for a treat every once in a while.
I also play with fabric. {Watch for April's entry!} I quilt or bring my fabric into my paper play. I collect vintage sewing supplies.
Are we having fun yet? I'd say we sure are!
One of my ATCs is featured in the picture (I) and it's wonderful to see it there in such great company! I'm an ATC fanatic, and have been an active member of Swapbot for about 10 years. I love the act of swapping, because I'm constantly inspired by what I receive. It's amazing to see the different "takes" on a theme (such as "vintage children", for instance)...look at all the ATCs featured, and you won't see any that are alike...to see the different embellishments that people use, to see the way the backgrounds are created...it's wonderful!
It's so interesting and fun to look at all of the cards. All the creativity and work is just fabulous! I hope to join in some time soon. Have a wonderful weekend.
