week 7's theme is:
Tulip
I am a little behind this week, after being away for the weekend,
so I only have 2 cards completed,
but if I have any additional interested swappers,
I will gladly create more.
This week I dug into my fabric stash to create these
tiny paper pieced quilt blocks.
The theme is Tulip, not quilt block,
so please feel free to create your ATC using any medium you feel comfortable working in.
I have received so many emails from followers that don't feel ready to share their art.
Can I just say, that I am by no stretch of the imagination an artist,
the best grade I received in High School Art was a C+
(the nuns didn't get my interpretation of the subject matter, I guess).
ATCs are tiny canvases that encourage us to try new techniques
and to stretch our creativity without becoming overwhelmed by a larger project.
Be sure to create something that speaks to you and your style,
some have voiced that they weren't sure if a card they create would be what I was looking for,
not my style.
I don't expect your creation to be "my style,"
it is made with your hand and should reflect that.
Here's how the trade works:
Every Tuesday I will post 3 ATCs that I have created.
I will name a theme for that week,
and invite you to join me in a swap.
You will email me with your mailing address:
and create and send one ATC in that week's theme.
Use any medium you choose.
Be sure to autograph your work.
I will return email you with my mailing address.
I will gladly accept more than 3 swappers any given week,
as long as time permits.
Please feel free to grab this button and link back to this post.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly
