Something New On Monday #5

One day last week I had mentioned
all of the great treats I received from
the Halloween Tag Swappers.

I had plans for these goodies.

This is what I created with the wrapping tissue paper,
and some of the trinkets.

I added my own scrapbook paper
for the rosettes,
and the frame is a chipboard piece
that I probably purchased 10 years ago.

This was so much fun to make,
and I now have yet another treasure to remind me
of all those kind and talented ladies that joined my swap.

I also had enough to create these fun tags.
I always tuck a little thank you into my etsy sales orders,
and these are perfect for October.

I still have a stack of fabric, laces, ribbons and trims
from my swaps.
I'll save those for another day's playtime.

Please leave a comment
and share what is new in your world.
Feel free to leave a link
if you have blogged about it.

Kimberly,
what a fun and wonderful idea to make a "collage" with all the little gifts you get from swappers-
your owl is wonderful, and the tags too-I love the orange ones-so dramatic!
Wish you a lovely new week, dear.

I adore how you combined all the wonderful elements onto one collage sheet. Your tags are super cute. Today is my Zumba class and then off to the local chamber to help out. Nothing in the studio today. Happy Haunting Dear...

Your owl is magnificent & don't you just love it when that "item" you've been holding onto, is the perfect fit today?!

I love your idea of creating a memento of the tag swap with lots of bits and pieces from the swap. It turned out great, it really is a fabulous Halloween decoration. Gotta love the owl's face.

This is awesome Kimberly! Glad you were able to make some really cool stuff with all of those lovely tid-bits! Not too much going on here. Thinking about starting my Christmas crafting.

Kim, you don't cease to amaze me. I love what you've done here, a memory from little bits and pieces. How special indeed.
I stopped by to thank you AGAIN for hosting that perfectly delightful Halloween tag swap. I just received my tags today, and they put an instant smile on my face. Your tag was...well, let's just say spooky indeed. ;) And I absolutely LOVE the way you held them together.
I only have one more party request...my fingers are crossed for a Christmas/Holidays swap. ;)
XOXO's,
Marcia
