10 small ivory paper roses
12 x 12 inch decorative paper
gold & silver German glass glitter

Dresden letter Q
3 yards ivory seam binding

quickly dip ivory paper roses, set aside to dry;
soak ivory fabric roses and leaves until the desired color is reached, set aside to dry;
soak ivory seam binding until the desired color is reached,
crumple and set aside to dry

run a bead of craft glue along the edges of the leaves
and tips of the fabric roses,
dust with gold German glass glitter,
set aside to dry

use a toothpick to evenly spread dimensional adhesive onto the flat surface of
a bronze "Love Wings Pendant,"
cover with silver German glass glitter;
glue a paper Dresden "Q" to the center of the glitter;
use a small amount of adhesive to attach mini rhinestone chain to the crown,
set aside to dry

(please note: photo shows a blue foil hat and white paint,
not the colors used in the finished project)
open and flatten one foil party hat,
using Spellbinders' Grand Calibur machine,
emboss with the
"Vintage Damask Long Texture Plate,"
make several passes, moving the plate each time;

line a second foil hat with decorative paper,
secure with glue and set aside to dry

cut 2 pieces of gold colored foil with the
"Petite Monarch Long Die "
(quick tip: keep the tissue paper layer on the foil, your finished piece will pop right out of the die)

run a bead of E6000 glue along the straight edge of the foil pieces,
attach them to the bottom edge of the embossed crown,
hold in place with clothes clips,
set aside to dry

use mini glue dots to secure each of  the highest points to the hat;
attach flat back pearls on top;
use E6000 glue to secure the paper roses as shown

arrange the three fabric roses and leaves, twist with wire to secure,
trim the stems to approx. 1 1/2 inches long,
glue and insert the bundle into the point of the embossed hat,
tie a bow with a small snippet of seam binding;

use foam dots and a bit of E6000 to attach the
"Love Wings Pendant"
to the center of the hat

cut the length of seam binding in half,
fold each in half again,
staple to the inside of the lined hat

place foam dots around the inside edge of the embossed hat,
insert the lined hat and press against the foam dots to secure
