August is 12 x 12 Tuesday month
(my own personal declaration)
Every Tuesday I will feature one 12 x 12 piece of scrapbook paper,
and share how I have used it.
This week features this beautiful paper from Echo Park
(double-sided paper is a must for this project)
The goal was to use up as much of the paper as possible.
I was able to create an A2 size envelope (5.5" x 4.25"),
a mat for the front of the envelope,
a mat and frame for the card face,
and fussy cut flowers.
An 8.5x11 sheet of white cardstock,
foam squares,
stamps and ink,
adhesives,
and a few floral sequins
were the only additional items required.
I used a few dies,
but the rectangles could be cut with scissors or a trimmer,
and a circle would work just as nicely for the focal stamped image.
I have already begun next week's project,
and it is a bit of an opposite approach to this week.
Instead of using one sheet of paper on one card,
I will see how many card faces I can create with one 12x12 sheet.
This is contrary to how I usually work.
I have so many supplies that I feel I will never use them up,
so I seldom worry about making one sheet of paper cover so much ground.
It should be interesting.
Thanks for visiting today!
hugs,
Kim

I Love this idea!
I also Love how your card and envie turned out.
I've used the same paper as the card I've made to line a plain envie before, but I've never thought to make a matching envie from the same paper. Thank you for the inspiration.
So sweet, dear Kim, and a wonderful way of using the lovely papers.
Hope you are fine,- dear friend.
Hugs, and love

Love that paper so much, and love what you did with it even more! I had to pin this post for future reference.
Beautiful paper..Love what you have created. Fun inspiration too. I need time to really get some necessary makes done. Hopefully in a week.
Love this paper and love what you made! I love making designer paper envelopes, but putting the mat on it makes it even prettier! and the matching card is so pretty. I may have to check into that paper, although maybe it was from your stash? I can't keep track of all the GORGEOUS papers out there. Every time I see a new one, I want it! The fussy cutting is a great idea too...... Marilyn

Since I made my comment in August, I went to Scrapbook.com and bought some of this paper - several sheets! I love it so much! Now I want to make a similar card and envelope.. never thought of fussy cutting some of the flowers out. Great idea! You give me such inspiration! I wish there was a way to "follow" your blog. I do follow you on Bloglovin' but sometimes don't go look very often and usually miss several of your posts. I just now have gone back from now to early August and read your other posts. I love your 12x12 Tuesdays..... and your more recent posts are awesome, using up your bits and pieces for your wonderful creations! Hugs.. Marilyn
