Throwback Thursday - 2012

I use to love to create little quilts like this one from 2012.
I didn't sell many,
I never tried to sell most of them.
This one I believe did sell.

Handwork like this is for the love of making,
the time spent cannot be priced appropriately.
Which explains the pile of finished and partially finished
tiny quilts in my studio cupboard.

JOYful hugs,
Kim

This is very sweet. I love it! Little wall hangings like this one always tug at my heart strings for some reason. I like tiny/small things. The lace and doily are so pretty with the little buttons. I see the hand stitching which I'm sure is very time consumming too. It's fun to save a few things that we make and love... as they DO take alot of time. I used to give everything away that I made, but now I try to keep a few things that I especially love. Hugs.. Marilyn
