Dollar Day friYAY!

 These 3 items from my local Dollar Tree

became this...

 ...fun modern farmhouse Valentine decor.

I covered the wood heart with pattern paper,

painted the canvas with chalkboard paint,

added ribbon and glitter letters,

and here you have it!

I received an email from a sweet customer, who wanted me to know that she had gifted one of my hanging heart pillows and it is pictured in the latest issue of Somerset Home.

Deb Hodge wrote a lovely article about the beautiful old blue door that she uses as an inspiration board.  You can see the pillow hanging on the door in the photo to the left and a close-up to the right in the article pictured below.

What a sweet surprise and more so, an honor that a piece I created helps to inspire another artist.
