April GGSS Project #2

Are we really halfway through May?
Better late than never,
I created a little tutorial for a simple and elegant
needle book made using the gorgeous supplies from
A Gilded Life's
April Gilded Girls Stash Society Kit.

Just sharing one peek inside.
The gorgeous rhinestone brooch from the kit is perfect for holding sewing scissors in place.

Info on joining the GGSS
can be found by clicking the button on my left sidebar.

Another Needle Book

I loved the experience of creating the needle book
for the swap at
Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group.

So much so,
that I created another.

There are pockets.

Of course there are sewing needles.

The metal heart pendant has been lightly stuffed
and holds the needle that I used to sew the entire book.

Here are more flowers and pins.

I am listing this in my etsy shop:
SOLD

I will be working on another version
for GGSS.
Check back later this week to see how it turns out.

hugs and JOY,
Kimberly

Been Sew Busy

Spring fever has hit!
I have been cleaning,
rearranging,
packing away all of the extra clutter that seems to appear every winter.

All of this has left little creative time.
I did manage to create this needle book for
my swap partner, Terri.
This was a one-on-one swap with the
Marie Antoinette Mail Art Group.
I will leave you to quietly peek through the book.
(remember, you can click on any picture to view it larger)

I have a busy month coming in May,
lots of family celebrations!
My youngest son is graduating college,
and will be going on to
Cornell's graduate engineering program in the Fall.
(I am so very happy for him,
and dare I say, just a little bit proud).

I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter.
hugs and JOY,
Kimberly
