A nondescript gold tone oval frame was the beginning of this little piece. The domed glass allowed the dimensional birdie (from RetroCafe)and metal rose to fit perfectly inside. Antique French book page, hand-stamped text, and this beautiful little girl (from PaperWhimsy)
were all that was needed to complete the collage, and a little paint, antiquing gel and varnish covered up that all-too-shiny gold tone frame.
