Happy Birthday Cards

Quick share of some sweet birthday cards I created using
more Maggie Holmes papers and embellishments.
Many fans of Maggie can name which collection every piece comes from,
I am not one of those,
but I do appreciate how all the collections play nicely together.

Happy halfway to the weekend!
hugs,
Kim

NOTE:
Be sure to leave a comment on this and every post in the month of February
for a chance to win a large paper crafting destash.

Greetings!

I spent this morning make greeting cards.

From June thru September,

our tiny family celebrates 8 birthdays,

Fathers' Day, of course,

and 4 wedding anniversaries!

Oh Happy Summer!

Please check out my etsy for a great deal on my blank greeting cards and art tags.
I am offering a special purchase,
buy 4 cards or tags and choose a 5th for free.

Cards and tags were my big sellers at the antiques mall,
so I always have a stockpile.
I will be listing even more,
so check back often.

enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly

ps - thanks to Linda and Kathy for signing up for this week's swap,
plenty of room for more.

November Recap...

Since I was sans computer capabilities for so much of November, I thought I would give a peek at some of what was happening around here.  I participated in two Christmas swaps.  This was an ornament swap with the same group of women that participated in the 12 days of Halloween swap.

This was for the tagswappers' group (not sure whether we are even calling ourselves that anymore).  They are very lacy and glittery, but neither shows up too well in the picture.  Our hostess was Jane Palmer and the theme was White Christmas.

Been so busy creating Christmas goodies for sale.  I had a few special orders to fill, the holiday boutique and antiques mall to stock, and even got a couple things listed in my etsy shop, hoping to add more soon.

Been redecorating our spare bedroom.  It has been mainly the tv room where Mr. AJS and I escape to when the boys are having band practice in the basement.

Now it is the tv room, the place in the house where I make jewelry, and my computer room.

Not nearly finished yet, but will be happy to share more when it's done.

Now, as many may remember, I celebrated a BIG birthday back in July.  Mr. AJS arranged a couple days in Vegas, baby.  (we waited until November, because I hate to vacation in the hot weather)  I had always wanted to see the Cirque du Soleil Beatles Love Show, and we did.  The show was amazing, it was the Beatles meet Tim Burton, meet Steampunk, meet Altered Art, Meet Dr. Seuss.  It was spectacular!  We had the best 2 days ever.

Finally, here's our newest family member.  Meet Maks.  He was our party favor this Thanksgiving.  My sil  and bil rescued Maks and his sisters from under their air conditioner a few weeks ago and my nephew, Adam did a great job getting them people-friendly.  Thanks so much, guys, we love him.

I will share pics of all things as they progress:  the swaps I receive in return; the evolution of my "mom cave"; and little Maks as he grows.

As we say goodbye to November, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas-time.

Kimberly

Happy Birthday,Ryan!

Today is my Ryan's 19th birthday.  He is away at school and this is the first time I will not see him on his birthday.  To celebrate Ryan, as well as the first full day of Fall, every year I decorate a birthday pumpkin.  This year I purchased one of those plastic-foam-type pumpkins from the craft store, decorated it, popped a battery operated tea light in the bottom and sent it off to him.  My dear boy will be home for a quick visit this weekend, the advantage to going to a school only 1 hour and 15 minutes away from home.

Happy Birthday To My Ryan
& Happy Autumn To All!

Kimberly

How To End My Perfect Birthday Day

Last weekend we had a lovely get-together to celebrate oldest son's 21st and my 50th birthdays with family. So my actual birthday day was just a quiet celebration with my 3 guys taking me to my favorite restaurant at the Jersey seashore (Moonstruck), followed by a glass of my favorite wine (Director's Cut Chardonnay), favorite cake (Sal's carrot cake) and amazing chocolate covered strawberries (Shari's Berries) that my sis sent.

It Was 21 Years Ago Today!

My beautiful baby boy was born.

And now, he is a beautiful young man.
My TC is a new soul, everything in his life has been met with an innocent sense of discovery.
I have been truly blessed to rediscover so many of life's simple treasures through his eyes.
He is a hard working, soon to be college senior, studying to become a history teacher.
He is an incredible musician, he is kind and thoughtful, he has the most amazing sense of humor.
I am so incredibly proud to be his mom.
Happy Birthday & Love you T!

May You, Too, enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly
