Use It Or Lose It

Sharing a couple of cards
featuring more old
Stickopotamus vellum stickers.

These leaves coordinated perfectly with new papers
from Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper.

This is proof that everything old
is new again!

Use It Or Lose It

I came across a number of vellum sticker sets from
Stickopotamus.
They have been in my stash for years.
They didn't feel very relevant for a long time,
but I think I held onto them just long enough for them to seem new again.

I think them mix beautifully with these adorable stamps
by Darcie's
and scraps of paper from Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper.

The first card was made to cheer a friend.

This card

and this card
will be going to:

I apparently had a thing for vellum stickers,
there will be more posts featuring them,
and you can visit this post from last year,
in which I used up almost 2 sets of these stars and dots stickers.

Hoping your week is lovely,
hugs,
Kim

12 Months Of Christmas - February 25th-ish

February got away from me,
but here is a peek at a few Christmas gift tags
I managed to get done.

The plan is to keep working on them this month.

These 2 tags were thrown together with scraps on my worktable.

wishing you a beautiful weekend, my friends,
Merry hugs,
Kim

Who Knew?

Did you know that some of the scrapbook manufacturer's
offer their paper and embellishments as digital downloads?

This was new to me.
American Craft offers bunches and bunches of digital kits for purchase on their site.

I purchased one paper pack and one embellishment pack,
both from Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper.
This collection is "Willow Lane" which was released last summer.

I used Photoshop to layer the images;
size them;
and print them onto printable fabric sheets,
which I used to create these fun sachet pillows.

These were gifted to the recipients of yesterday's birthday cards.

Be sure to come back later today,
I will be announcing the February giveaway winner!

hugs,
Kim

Happy Birthday Cards

Quick share of some sweet birthday cards I created using
more Maggie Holmes papers and embellishments.
Many fans of Maggie can name which collection every piece comes from,
I am not one of those,
but I do appreciate how all the collections play nicely together.

Happy halfway to the weekend!
hugs,
Kim

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 505

Throughout the month of February
I will be primarily working with the collections of
Maggie Holmes.

I love her designs,
and in the spirit of full disclosure,
this is just a taste of what I have accumulated.
You cannot see the stack of 12 x 12 papers and chipboard
behind the smaller paper pads and sticker sets in the magazine rack.
Not included in the picture is a 12 x 12 Iris container,
WHICH IS FILLED, BTW!

I hope you will visit here often this month,
as I attempt to put an end to my hoarding nature.
Okay, it will just be baby steps.

hugs from the happy hoarder,
Kim

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 501

My workdesk this morning is the kitchen table,
where I am addressing invites.

My son and his sweet girl
became engaged on Christmas Eve!
We have a small "meet the families"
engagement party planned for later this month.

You know I never miss an opportunity to make cards!

I used Maggie Holmes/Crate Paper Dies
(it's a few years old, I found mine on ebay last year).
I love this modern take on the rose.
The papers are a mix of older papers from my stash.
