The first and second generations (aka, us old folks)
sat down for dinner in the Morning Room.
I made the table runner last year
using drop cloth and an assortment of doilies from my mother.
I have to remember to take a better picture to share.
It was a huge project,
must have taken 10 hours,
but I love the finished product.
I kept my decorations fairly simple,
I love how flowers look in this room
with the sun streaming through the windows.
I used roses and arborvitae
and amaryllis grown from bulbs.
Last year, they didn't bloom in time for Christmas,
this year I planted them 2 weeks before Thanksgiving
and they were perfect.
Wishing you a Merry Winter's night.
More tomorrow.
enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly

Oh, Kimberly, this is so beautiful! Love the idea of planting your own bulbs to bloom in time for Christmas! Would love to see the doily runner in more detail as I have much crochet work from my mother and an aunt.
