I am busy, busy, busy these days.

I have 4 swaps I have commited to, crazy, I know.

I am preparing for the Ocean Grove Flea Market on Saturday, September 11.

I must rework my case at the Burlington Arts And Antiques Emporium.  Time to decorate for Fall.

I can't forget my 50 Day Birthday Bash.  Only 11 more days to go!

Loving every minute spent creating.
Wishing You A Happy Heart, As Well!

Having Fun With New Fabric Projects

With my first show of the season just 2 weeks away, the crunch is on.  I have been making fabric covered journals, these 2 will be headed to the antiques mall, they sell as fast as I make them there.

Making a variety of fabric tags, I am loving the white burlap.  I purchased a huge supply, with a few home projects in mind, but have been using it in my crafting.

This is a little pocket fashioned from a small vanity scarf, vintage buttons and an antique French postcard reproduced onto fabric.  I really want to fill this little pouch, but have creative block and for now it remains empty.

Anyone who has ever purchased from me during Christmas is familiar with my long knit stocking Faeries.

I have made and sold dozens over the past few years.

Well, the time has come, I just finished my last 5 large knit stocking faeries.

I don't think I will be listing these in the shop this year, but will take them to shows and/or the antiques mall.  If you are interested in one of them before they are gone, please email me (kimlaws@verizon.net) and I can bill you through Paypal.  They are $14.00 each plus shipping.

Here's What I Made Today!

I received a phone call from a long-time customer.

She found me through another customer, who commissioned me several years ago for her daughter's Sweet 16 party.

Well, it is her 25th anniversary, and her dear friend, asked me to create a wall hanging in which they will be able to place their wedding and/or anniversary photos.

This color combination of burgundy, green and gold was requested, and honestly, a bit of a challenge, as commissioned work often is. Fingers crossed that the anniversary couple are happy with the final results.
