Springtime In Paris ATC Swap Returns

We are a small group,
but mighty,
mighty pretty ATCs, that is.

I am packing up the swap,
and hope to have the returns in tomorrow's mail
(Monday, at the latest).

Because of the generosity of friends such as these,
I only needed to swap out 2 of my own cards
(3 of our group sent an extra ATC for me),
so one of you will be receiving 4 ATCs!

I am not sure when the next swap will be,
I am thinking about a
Christmas In July theme.
Let me know what you think.

Thanks so much to
Susanne, Liz, Sylvia, Maggie, and Sherry!
Visit the comments section of
to find links to each of their blogs.

Thanks for visiting.
hugs,
Kim

Off They Go!

Last month's swap is finally off to our swappers.
I am sorry to have taken so long to close out
April In Paris.

Going forward,
all swap returns will be in the mail
within one week of your mailing deadline.

I gave you a peek at the tags on White Wednesday.

Here is the final list of our swappers,
be sure to visit their blogs to say hi
and see the beautiful things they create:

Isn't this sweet mannequin
too much?
-a gift from Marlene-
These vintage items from Jane
are a true treasure.

She attached this note to the fan from the
Folies Bergere.
I love to know the history of my vintage items,
this is a keeper.

Thank you to all who joined last month's swap,
thank you to all who included and extra ATC
or giftie for the hostess.

Gifts are never expected or required,
but I am so touched by the kindness that is sent my way.

enJOY a lovely Friday,
and Your Blessings,
Kimberly

White Wednesday #150

Paris In Spring
The city's all a-shining
Beneath a fickle sun,
A gay young wind's a-blowing,
The little shower is done.
But the rain-drops still are clinging
And falling one by one --
Oh it's Paris, it's Paris,
And spring-time has begun

I know the Bois is twinkling
In a sort of hazy sheen,
And down the Champs the gray old arch
Stands cold and still between.
But the walk is flecked with sunlight
Where the great acacias lean,
Oh it's Paris, it's Paris,
And the leaves are growing green.
The sun's gone in, the sparkle's dead,
There falls a dash of rain,
But who would care when such an air
Comes blowing up the Seine?
And still Ninette sits sewing
Beside her window-pane,
When it's Paris, it's Paris,
And spring-time's come again.

April In Paris Update

Here is a look-see at all 6 of my

I still have not received the final set of cards,
however, I will sort and pack those I have tomorrow
regardless of whether the last set arrives or not.

I normally post the new swap announcement on first Tuesdays,
but I will leave that for next Tuesday,
May 1st came rather quickly.

Happy May Day!

April In Paris Update

I have received ATCs from:
Sylvia, Danielle, Jane, Sherry, Chris, Amy,
Laurel, Kelly, Cynthia, Marlene, Wendy, Yona and Judy.

I am impressed by how many different ways this theme was interpreted,
I think you will be too.

I have swap gifts to finish
and am expecting one more group of ATCs,
(one of our swappers was under the weather this week,
and was kind enough to let me know that she would be a little late).
I will be sure to post once they are in the mail.

enJOY a lovely weekend!
and Your Blessings,
Kimberly

Is There A 12 Step Program For ATC Addicts?

If not, I may have found a calling.

My dear friend, Natalea, had invited interested ATC enthusiasts to swap with her.
Since I pick a theme every Tuesday for an ATC swap,
I asked her to pick two themes.
She chose
Paris & Vintage Sewing.

These are the Paris

and the Vintage Sewing cards I sent her way,

and here are the beautiful cards I received in return!
her Paris card

and her Vintage Sewing card.
You cannot tell from the picture, but she used wax on this card,
I love the effect and must try my hand at this technique one day.

Thanks so much, Natalea,
as always, this was fun!

enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly

Whimsy Jar Swap

Jessica is the gracious hostess of this Whimsy Jar Swap.

Jessica was also one of my swap partners, and this is the French inspired jar I created for her.

Pink, white, and creamy bits and bobs were gathered and packaged in the jar.

Vintage lace, seam bindings, wood thread spools, buttons from the 1940s were just a few of the trinkets included in this personalized assortment.

My second swap partner is Kathy,

and you can check out her blog to see what inspired the bunny theme.

Vintage hand crochet, dreamy old buttons in cotton candy colors,

mini tags, pink plastic clothes pins, and a brass bunny charm are just a few of the goodies I packed into this jar.
I hope you ladies love these half as much as I loved putting them together for you!
Thanks for visiting today,
& enJOY Your Blessings,
Kimberly
